2 T. butter
1 onion, diced
2 jalapenos, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup milk
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp salt
2 cups shredded cheddar or jack cheese
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Saute onions and jalapenos until tender.
Add garlic and spices and saute briefly until fragrant.
Add milk, cream cheese, and salt and stir until incorporated.
Add the shredded cheese and stir until it is melted. Immediately remove from heat.
